Updating my review after my recent visit because I really feel the service here is stellar. My car suddenly developed a high idle problem bad enough that I felt I should stop driving it, and I dropped it off without having made an appointment on a Monday. I happened to catch the shop on a week where they were backed up due to the senior technician having been on vacation the week before. It was going to be a few days before they could start the work (I asked for a major tuneup in addition to troubleshooting the idle), but Richard very courteously checked me in, and let me leave the car rather than having to make another trip back later in the week to drop it off. Robert, the service adviser, was the one who found the idle problem, and he called me to explain it. When I got my car back, it was running great. It is not easy to get parts for / work on my car, and many repair shops would probably turn me away or get it wrong. I'm very grateful to the team at 26th Street Auto for being so competent and kind.
