I took my car here for an emergency engine service, during a family road trip on 12/28/16. The technicians did not know much about cylinders. They tried multiple repairs. The immediate issue was resolved but then three service sensors lights triggered and they did not know why. I then took my car to another shop who told me that those sensors were triggered by the last repair done at 26th Street Auto.

After my experience at 26th street auto, I can't imagine going to another local car repair shop. The manager Robert handled my AC problem with the grace, efficiency and honesty of someone who's been in the business a long time and thusly knows how important it is to treat the customer well. No flashy gimmicks or tricks. Just straight forwardness, problem solving and solution options. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

I had window tinting. 3M product, Crystalline on windshield and front side windows, the rest in Premium. 2009 Prius. $800 including tax. Do you know they did better on price than a Living Social deal at a dumpy place on Wilshire called Startronics? Well they did. Super high quality at a great price. I also get my car washed there. $35, clean as a whistle. They do it in an hour while I'm at my Bar Method class.

Had some work done on my Range Rover, the owner took time to talk thru my options & how I could save money. They had my truck back to me in 18 hours & at a truly amazing price. I will absolutely be an ongoing customer here.

I was in SoCal on vacation and decided to get my car detailed. I had never gotten one before so I didn't know what all the expect. I have kept my car pretty neat and it had only one scrape on the front bumper with paint residue. Clemente and his team did a wonderful job. My car sparkled!!! And the paint transfer was gone so the scrape is now barely noticeable! The interior was spotless! (I had a minor panic when I couldn't find all the little stuff I left in cup holders, etc. It was in the trunk.) The windows were so crystal clear I was mesmerized. I highly recommend 26th Street Auto. The next time I come to LA I will definitely stop by again! :)

I would highly recommend 26th St Auto for any service needs your car may have. Robert and his team truly went above and beyond taking care of a cracked rim and slow leak in my tire. They fixed the issue the same day and it cost me half of what a competitor was charging. Great service!!

I drive all electric, but I still need help with tires. Alberto convinced me he could repair my new low profile tire quickly (nail), and he pointed out another tire with a bulge on the side, and suggested it might be covered by warranty. Great service!

Updating my review after my recent visit because I really feel the service here is stellar. My car suddenly developed a high idle problem bad enough that I felt I should stop driving it, and I dropped it off without having made an appointment on a Monday. I happened to catch the shop on a week where they were backed up due to the senior technician having been on vacation the week before. It was going to be a few days before they could start the work (I asked for a major tuneup in addition to troubleshooting the idle), but Richard very courteously checked me in, and let me leave the car rather than having to make another trip back later in the week to drop it off. Robert, the service adviser, was the one who found the idle problem, and he called me to explain it. When I got my car back, it was running great. It is not easy to get parts for / work on my car, and many repair shops would probably turn me away or get it wrong. I'm very grateful to the team at 26th Street Auto for being so competent and kind.

Had an oil leak pop up while driving. Went to this place to get some oil because the oil light in my car came on. Unfortunately, the power in the neighborhood was out and they couldn't accept cards. I thought I was going to be in a major jam since it was rush hour and i was basically driving without oil in my car. Thankfully, one of the guys working there offered to check my oil and then put 2 quarts in the car free of charge. They got me out of a bind and did it for free. I'll be forever thankful of them for that.
